Experience
Alyssa has spent the majority of her career in arts and entertainment journalism at both the local and international levels. She began her career as an arts intern at her hometown newspaper, covering area performances and leading features on local directors and filmmakers. She has written for a variety of outlets spanning the industry, including BroadwayWorld, College Magazine, Blurred Culture, and The Independent Florida Alligator. At the latter, she created the original column "Trophy Hunting," which covered awards season, for three years.
Education
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications Management with a minor in Theatre from the University of Florida; she also holds a Master of Science degree in Leadership for Creative Enterprises from Northwestern University.
