With the Trumps, those two worlds collide easily. She continues to stay immersed in current social moments and uses that interest to enhance her writing at Nicki Swift. Education

Bernadette received a bachelor's degree in English Literature from St. Mary's University in Calgary, Alberta. She graduated from the University of Victoria in 2014 with a master's degree in English Literature. In May 2019, she graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a PhD in English and Creative Writing.‌
